AnyMarker: A Customizable OBS Chapter Marker Solution
OBS 30.2 shipped chapter markers for local recordings. Great feature - but it only supports one marker type. A few plugins can do custom markers, but none of them fit how I actually work.
I run OpenQuestline, a YouTube channel covering game guides: collectibles, trophies, quest walkthroughs, all of that. Every game names things differently, and a lot of games have more than one collectible type. I need to mark specific moments while recording so I can find that footage later without scrubbing through an hour of video.

So I built AnyMarker.
With AnyMarker, you set up whatever markers you need, tap them while OBS is recording, and when the session ends it processes everything into the video file. If you record multiple games or need different marker sets for different projects, presets handle that. Each preset keeps its own markers. Set it up once, switch between games without thinking about it.
AnyMarker also saves your markers to a plain text file with timestamps. Most video editors can import that directly, and if yours canβt, there are converters online that take a few seconds.
Still in development - Mac and Windows on the first release. If you want early access, drop your email on the waitlist and Iβll let you know when itβs ready.
